Celebrating its 75^th anniversary in the 2021-22 academic year, the Department of Applied Health Science has long led the way in sexual and reproductive health research. Together, with excellent faculty from across the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington, our scholars place Indiana University as the leader in sexual and reproductive health, not only in the United States, but among universities across the globe.

This Chair will complement the excellent work going on across the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington to study equity, justice, and rights in sexual and reproductive health and to train the next generation of scientists/scholars and educators in support of the belief that all individuals have equity, justice, and rights in sexual and reproductive health. As there are no other institutions better placed to do this work, we cannot waste another day without this Chair.
